Differ. Geom. 48, No. 3, 445--495 (1998; Zbl 0948.53045)].  Specifically, let \\(G\\) be a compact, connected, simply connected Lie group with a maximal torus \\(T\\) which is pointwise invariant under a certain involutive automorphism \\(\\tau\\) of \\(G\\). Assume that \\({\\mathcal W}\\) is a Weyl alcove in the Lie algebra of \\(T\\) and let \\((M,\\omega)\\) be a connected quasi-Hamiltonian \\(G\\)-space with a proper momentum map \\(\\mu\\colon M\\to G\\), endowed with an involution \\(\\beta\\colon M\\to M\\) satisfying \\(\\beta^*\\omega=-\\omega\\), \\(\\beta(g\\cdot x)=\\tau(g)\\cdot\\beta(x)\\) for every \\(x\\in M\\) and \\(g\\in G\\), and \\(\\mu\\circ\\beta=\\tau^{-}\\circ\\mu\\), where \\(\\tau^{-}(g)=\\tau(g^{-1})\\) for every \\(g\\in G\\). In addition, assume that the fixed-point set \\(M^\\beta\\) of \\(\\beta\\) is non-empty and satisfies \\(\\mu(M^\\beta)\\cap Q_0\\neq\\emptyset\\), where \\(Q_0\\) is the connected component of \\(1\\) in the fixed-point set of \\(\\tau^{-}\\) in \\(G\\). Then \\(\\mu(M^\\beta)\\cap\\exp(\\overline{\\mathcal W}) =\\mu(M)\\cap\\exp(\\overline{\\mathcal W})\\), and in particular the left-hand side of this equality is a convex sub-polytope of \\(\\exp(\\overline{\\mathcal W})\\simeq\\overline{\\mathcal W}\\).  The paper concludes by a sketch of the method of proof of this theorem.","citation":[{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1281874"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3940519"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1597473"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4740746"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4741441"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1173319"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2266495"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4314591"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2266496"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5565588"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1807897"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1579104"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1272799"}]},"provenance":{"prov:generatedAtTime":"2026-03-30T13:09:43Z","prov:wasAttributedTo":"MaRDI Knowledge Graph"}}
