One of them is a Whyburn type lemma and gives the existence of a branch of a \\`\\` prescribed size\\'\\', while the second abstract result of this paper implies the existence of a global branch. A situation where one can guarantee locally connectedness of a solution set in operator equations is when one allows arbitrarily small perturbations of the operators. A result which gives a global bifurcation branch not for the original equation but for arbitrarily small perturbations of the equation without any compactness hypotheses is also established in this paper. The abstract results apply either for the locally compact situation and then allow to prove global bifurcation results of Rabinowitz type, or they apply for a locally connected situation and allow to prove global branches of arbitrarily small perturbations without any compactness hypotheses. As two applications, the author obtains both a generalization of the Rabinowitz theorem for bifurcation from an interval and an implicit function type theorem for nondifferentiable functions.","citation":[{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1189466"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3952696"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q696178"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q768086"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3152387"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4343193"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2649501"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2492465"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3913956"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q689739"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1142393"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1805294"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5508167"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3304890"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q677070"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5612322"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3140331"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2554878"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2544504"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5651615"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1570952"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2569744"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1875250"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2484521"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q884252"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5837858"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5580899"}]},"provenance":{"prov:generatedAtTime":"2026-01-13T06:15:17Z","prov:wasAttributedTo":"MaRDI Knowledge Graph"}}
