By transforming the differential problem into an equivalent integral problem \\( u = T u, \\) where \\(T\\) is a suitable integral operator, the author proves two theorems (for \\(f(t,u)\\) and \\(f(t,u,u')\\)) providing sufficient conditions on the nonlinear function \\(f\\) and the constants to ensure the existence of a concave solution. Further, a fixed-point iteration \\(u_{n+1}= T u_n\\) with given \\(u_0\\) is proposed to approximate the solution of the integral equation. Finally, two examples with some polynomial functions \\(f\\) are presented to show the performance of the proposed iterative scheme.","citation":[{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1206873"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1329284"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1336190"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1353743"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4264050"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1586281"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1612558"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4798730"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4463142"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1767827"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1400092"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4796749"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1406111"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1767836"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4465269"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1764500"}]},"provenance":{"prov:generatedAtTime":"2026-01-10T15:53:41Z","prov:wasAttributedTo":"MaRDI Knowledge Graph"}}
