Instead of traditional mesh oriented methods (as the finite volume method or the finite elemen method), this method requires only a scattered set of nodes in the domain. The authors present this approach and derive a priori error estimates in the \\(L^\\infty\\) norm. Moreover, some stability results are discussed.
