Gonçalves} [J. Oper. Theory 57, No.~2, 391--407 (2007; Zbl 1164.46038)]. It is shown in the present paper how to compute the K-theory groups of the \\(C^*\\)-algebra, in the case of tilings of \\(\\mathbb R\\) or \\(\\mathbb R^2\\), to conclude that, in the one-dimensional case, the \\(K_0\\)-group is torsion free, for example, for the Thue-Morse tiling. Next, in the one-dimensional case, the positive cone of the \\(K_0\\)-group of the \\(C^*\\)-algebra is characterized. Also computed is the K-theory of the inductive limit \\(C^*\\)-algebra associated to a tiling of \\(\\mathbb R^d\\), with the K-theory groups of building block \\(C^*\\)-algebras isomorphic to \\(K_*(C^*_r(G_0))\\). Furthermore, as examples are given the Fibonacci tiling as a one-dimensional case, and its inductive limit case, and the octagonal tiling and the table tiling as two-dimensional cases, and their inductive limit cases, with the associated \\(C^*\\)-algebra K-theory groups torsion free and with torsion, respectively.","citation":[{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4236827"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3752945"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4284468"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4222027"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3413166"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1359985"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1598127"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5308905"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1379524"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4215423"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2405322"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4862759"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1366988"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2709127"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5496256"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4520088"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4540930"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5322034"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3135819"}]},"provenance":{"prov:generatedAtTime":"2025-07-04T15:32:43Z","prov:wasAttributedTo":"MaRDI Knowledge Graph"}}
