These are defined as the Euler-Satake characteristics of the space of \\(\\Gamma\\)--sectors of the orbifold, where \\(\\Gamma\\) is a finitely generated discrete group. The behavior of these characteristics under product operations applied to \\(\\Gamma\\) as well as the orbifold are also studied and their relationship to existing Euler characteristics for orbifolds are established.
