The original model is reduced to the system of two ordinary differential equations  \\[  \\begin{aligned} \\phi'' = & \\left[\\omega^{2}+\\left(\\frac{K A^{2}}{4}\\operatorname{sech}^{2}x + 3\\lambda\\nu^{2}\\tanh^{2}x-\\lambda\\nu^{2}\\right)\\right]\\phi + \\frac{5 A K \\nu}{\\sqrt{20}}\\operatorname{sech}\\,x\\tanh x\\psi,\\\\ \\psi'' = & \\left[\\omega^{2} + 1 + (3 A^{2}\\gamma_{1} - K \\nu^{2})\\operatorname{sech}^{2}x\\right]\\psi + \\frac{4 A K \\nu}{\\sqrt{20}}\\operatorname{sech}\\,x\\,\\text{tanh}\\,x\\phi \\end{aligned}  \\]  subject to the boundary conditions  \\[  \\lim_{|x|\\to\\infty}\\phi(x) = 0 = \\lim_{|x|\\to\\infty}\\psi(x).  \\]  The authors prove the nonexistence of nontrivial bounded solutions of this boundary value problem for an open set of the parameters. Moreover, the existence of nontrivial solutions for a hypersurface of the parameters is established. The authors use Fredholm theory for compact linear operators combined with the Lyapunov-Schmidt method to prove their results. Finally, let us note that the model is stable if and only if the corresponding boundary value problem does not have nontrivial solutions.","citation":[{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q510867"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5930372"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4492596"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4492602"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q749741"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1766242"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q843084"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4032576"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q5687306"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q1837968"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q4265663"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q2251969"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q440538"},{"@id":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/entity/Q3706043"}]},"provenance":{"prov:generatedAtTime":"2026-01-17T15:36:35Z","prov:wasAttributedTo":"MaRDI Knowledge Graph"}}
