Comparing to non-commutative case, it is much more difficult to find a suitable monoid axiom which guarantees that commutative monoids in \\(\\mathcal{M}\\) inherit a model structure. The author overcomes this difficulty and introduce the commutative monoid axiom in this paper. To do this, the authors work with \\(E_{\\infty}\\)-algebras. The author also provides numerous examples of model categories satisfying the axiom in the last section of the paper.
